Morpheus’ story Amulet of Power, (a really good one: I truly admired the character Becky, she’s my kind of heroine), the story got me to thinkin’:
In any of your stories, have you ever had the heroine think of the dear one in her life (father, little brother, boyfriend, husband, etc.), and debate within herself or with her female friends whether or not to give him a shot of the good stuff?
Personally I like the idea of a heroine being willing to share her power with those that she loves and trusts if she has the ability. Otherwise, she comes across as far to self-centered, untrusting and a control freak.
