KeymasterInteresting, now youthful again Slade's appearance reminds me of the character Jordan Collier (as played by Bill Campbell) from The 4400 – perhaps, as a tip of the hat to the series?
Maybe physical rejuvenation isn't the only thing that he's gained in the process . . . 8)

ParticipantYa want a rainbow, cpbell, ya gotta put up with the rain. 😛
Hey, seriously, glad to see the story's on the move again. We're closer to more T-chan soon! ;D

Funny you say rain, Jimmy; half of England's under water as we type… 🙁

ParticipantSorry, I just saw the CBS Evening News report this morning. :-[ Didn't mean to make light of the floods in England or the people under duress there.
Those nearby, can we send something to the relief efforts there?
I just meant that we've got to see the bad guy take his scene so we'll have something for the heroine to overcome. And this would've been better than no more pics in the story, wouldn't it?

No offence taken – my area isn't affected, and I doubt anyone else would be offended, even those flooded or without water & power. I was just struck by the irony of it. As for Tet-chan, you're right – this is building towards something goooood! 8)

ParticipantDon't forget there are people in Texas who're putting up with quite a bit of water…

Well, it's building towards something… I sure hope it's good! ;D
Most of the rest of the page is laid out in (very) rough pencils; it's just a matter now of finding the time to ink, color, letter…
PS: Sorry about not posting notice of the new partial page here. It's getting to where getting the page itself posted is only half the work; then I have to put a notice on my update blog, put a notice on the front page of the main site, post a notice here… *whew!* I'm half tempted to drop the update blog in favor of my dA page.

What? There's a character on The 4400 that looks like the youthful Slade? I don't watch the show.

Yes, DCM, I know; our thoughts should be with all those, whether in the UK or US who are currently in difficulty. :'(

Well you should . . . 😉
And as for resemblances . . . http://the4400wiki.org/Jordan_Collier
I might add, his "ability" seems to be one of erasing special powers from other newly created 4400s. One touch, and they're gone, permanently.
