Totally cool article – a few years old

    Yes, it is a few years old, and yes, I do feel that the hyper-sexification of Lara Croft meant that Tomb Raider was a double-edged sword, but the opinion of the author of this article, particularly the bit where she writes about passing the group of guys on the street after having trained in martial arts, and, instead of feeling fear, she feels confident because she knows that she could defend herself, is cool.  It completely describes how I think all women can be, and I love the word "wimpette"!

    Let's stop society teaching girls to be wimpettes, shall we? 😉 8)

    Um, I think the link to the article got lost, somehow.

    Obviously, I agree with you on the topic of teaching women to be confident and strong.  And maybe 'Wimpettes' would be a good name for a band? 😉
