There's a tennis-themed ad running on US TV for Cheer laundry detergent – one of the actresses (a tennis player in the spot) has noticeably muscular arms.

I saw this ad on the Bravo network at about 10:25 EST this evening.  It's apparently part of a larger campaign by Cheer to introduce a character called "The Laundress": http://cheer.com/

Let's see if one of us can't record it and upload the video to YouTube.

Nice name for a detergent, and I'd love to see the ad.  Sounds a bit like that throat sweet one you mentioned a while back.

About 40 years ago, Cheer introduced a variety of their product that could be used for both hot and cold washes.  The name was "All Tempa-Cheer", which is so awful that it cannot be forgiven.

There are no great puns – the best that is achievable within that variety of wordplay is "moderately amusing".

    LOL! ;D
Anyway, let's hope that somebody records it and posts it to YouTube.
