DC’s Knockout bites the dust

    Check out Birds of Prey #109. As DC begins killing the Gods of New Genesis et al, ex-Fury named Knockout is the latest to get wacked. What hurts is that it doesn't really have any bearing to the title's main story. Sure Big Barda is now part of the team. Sure Knockout fought her recently in a previous issue. But having her death now just doesn't feel right. In fact, it looked more like one of those slasher deaths in "Friday the 13th". After having sex with her lesbian lover she's killed off by some mysterious, fearsome assailant. Sounds more like a slasher-themed death: if you fornicate you die. Sheesh.  >:(

    This is the second time in a year or so that she's been "killed".  Don't take it so hard.

    I'm just gonna say this: If the new Booster Gold series comes through on its promise of bringing Ted back, all past sins will be forgiven.

    If "you mean business", why not change a MAJOR CHARACTER?

    When was the last time anyone cared about Pantha or Knockout? See, killing off Flash/Kid Flash was a step in the right direction.
    Though they brought Wally back.
    And they claim Bart's not dead.

    Dude, they're going to wack ALL the New Gods. Poof. Marvel finally wrote Ragnarok and killed off the Asgardians years ago. That was something Jack Kirby wanted decades ago. Now DC is going to write off his other creation, the New Gods. It's like every year they have to cull some characters but bring them back later.
