First, this is just my analysis of Dan Slott's run on She-Hulk. Because I'm shure somebody will reply to this (I hope), I don't want to read anything like Slott's sucks or the like (we alredy have that kind of thread), just your thoughts on his run (and my way of thinking too, if you want)

Second, IF YOU HAVENT READ ISSUE 21 YET, DON'T READ AFTER THE "SPOILER" SIGN FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

And with no further delay, here I go.

First, I would like to Than Dan Slott, for bringing back Jen to the main scene of the marvel comics, and making her have the longest solo run in her history (adding vol 1 & 2, she had 33 issues). I really liked the first volume (pencilers discussions aside, please!).  Slott managed to put together all that had happened to jen in the Avengers, and came upo with what I believe is a nice take on th character. The duality of Jen/She-Hulk was a good thing, something we didn't really see in her previous books. The comedic touch was way better than the one Byrne did, and the superhuman law thing was very clever. The suporting cast was very good, specialy Awesome Andy ( I can't believe how much I liked him). People might have complainedof the lack of "action", but the Big Picture arc, and then the Titania arc, had a lot of action, and all that champion of the universe thing had a lot of action too. Only god (and the guys at marvel) know why the book really went on a hiatus for 8(?) months. In the middle we had Dissasembled, and well there is not much about to say about that (in Jen's Book, not in the Marvel U). The one thing that I think was and is missing, is that Jen killed the Vision, and never felt too much guilt about it.

When the book came back, I had high hopes. The first three issues were good, and the "100th" issue, was nice take on her history in marvel. After that, is when I started to hate the book, all that stasrfox/John Jameson arc was really weird and senseless, at least for me. And of course, we can't forget Mark "lets completely destroy thre Marvel U and thrash some heroes" Millar's Civil War. I'm shure Slott hated the idea of Jen being a pro-regg was completely agains character, but the "Powers That Be" said she was Pro, so Pro she had to go. Another thing that didn't help either, is that the artist kept changed and the title didn't get a regular penciler. Conrad was good, butdidn't last too long, and Burchett, well I liked him, but his lines were too Marvel Adventures. After Civil War, I think Dan took  revenge on all the ones that made hin write her as a pro-Reg. World Wothout Hulk was really good. Again, after that the issues were noit too good, but the final 2 were for me awesome. He really let go on his double meanigs and back stabbing jokes, literally reaching almost everybody.

Well here comes the SPOLIERS FOR #"21

In his last issue, Slott really straightens the MArvel U continuity problems in the last years, with a very good plot. All the references, and in-jokes were great. The Earth-A suapping device was great, and all the people having vacations in a parellel her world, being the hero is awesome. the "Awesome, Uncanny, Incredible, astounding, you forgot amazing" dialogue is great comedy. Stu going to the other dimmension because the big guys at the law firm pulled some stringsa and he becomes a writer for a Mayor Marvel character was very funny, and the guys wishing if they were in a comic book, Peter David would be the writer, is also very clever.

I'msure many people didn't like his run, complaning about many things, but I have to give Dan Slott a lot of credit. He brought back from sidekicking a character we all love (fetishes or not aside) and he nade it possible for her to keep on going, and in the hands of none other that Peter David.
To you Dan thanks for 4 years great readding and fun. I will miss you.

My thoughts, exactly. The serie wasn't at his best lately, but Dan did a lot for the character and the serie.
