🙁
Nothing new tonight. Bummer…
Maybe I should post something, ask some deep question, but what???
Hmmm…….. :-
ok, I have one…
What would or should be a trigger for growth into an amazon, hulking out, or growing into a Giantess? If you're a women, what would you like to trigger or cause it for you, a guy, what would you like to see or do to a woman to cause her to grow and change?
That's a good one to discuss for now. I'll post my answer in a day or two, don't want to give anyone any ideas right now.
Bye,

In stories I've written, I've used medical experiments gone awry, a magic penny, surges of wild magick, and the merging of a couple of worlds' magical lifestreams. Obviously, I tend to favor the fantasy elements when I'm dealing with FMG/GTS, but I'm not really fussy… ;D
Let me toss this back- is there a viable way to turn an external impetus for change (controlled by some outside force) into an internal one (controlled by the woman being changed?)
September 14, 2007 at 10:29 am #60216Deadly PixxxieParticipantWell, there's the old classic anger. That one's my favorite.
The runner-up to that would be fear.
In third place, we have humiliation.
and the Miss Congeniality prize goes to straight up sexual frustration/stimulation.

I'd have to say, though, that the ones that I am the biggest fan of are probably the ones with a twist of reality thrown into the mix.
In other words, the causes that are actually possible in the real world (though they are obviously still quite improbable). The presence of such a possibility adds a subtle, difficult-to-define element to the stories that, in my opinion, make the stories that much more engaging.
September 14, 2007 at 4:19 pm #60218Hunter S CreekParticipantPretty much anything well-written or well-illustrated could be a fun trigger for female growth.
The preference that I do have pertains not so much to the trigger itself but to the fact that the growth should be caused by something that is not fully under the characters' control. In other words the growth is either a complete surprise; or if growth is expected, it produces results that exceed expectation.Tschuss!
HunterSeptember 14, 2007 at 4:51 pm #60219JimmyDimplesParticipantHmmm… quite a laundry list for what I've done. My triggers have been:
(1) Radiation beaming from a global feminist oligarchy (Power Play)
(2) Experimental serums, taken willingly (The Stray)
(3) Above, taken unknowingly, and triggered unwillingly (China Will Grow Larger, and Like a Weed)
(4) A mystic device from a supernatural benefactor (the Dyna stories and Alysia and the Trial of Strength), and…
(5) A forced-on double whammy of nanites and a witchcraft hex from separate parties (my deviantArt exclusive Cheery Cherry, parts one and two)Guess I'm pretty much open to anything, as long as I can show my story to my pastor. 😉
September 14, 2007 at 5:30 pm #60220ChuckParticipantMy favorite bit for a growth trigger would be a good bit of FMG art or story. Something where the lady in question is reading/looking at a piece of a lady getting really big and muscular, and then gasps in shock as it begins to happen to her too… that's my take.
September 15, 2007 at 7:12 am #60221drum monkeyParticipantA girl taking reallywell to working out
vitamin enhanced bath or pool water, or a special shower
willpower
some kind of shaman ritual maybe
a magician or sorcerer, using a little magic trick to "rub strength into" lovers, like a massage
good old fashioned adrenaline
September 16, 2007 at 9:20 am #60222philkansevinParticipantWhat about some kind of comot strike? That way the writer could do a woman's growth around the world thing?
September 20, 2007 at 7:29 am #60223magnus knightParticipantOk, here's mine:
1) Third party intervention. She doesn't know she's going to grow, she may or may not want to grow, but that guy with the stranger laser or the one who put that stuff in her drink is going to make sure she does.
2) Strong Emotion. Not your weak everyday ones here, I'm thinking extreme here. Hatered, lust, the kind of fear that causes cold sweats and the inability to move.
3) Circumstance. Maybe she wasn't the target for growth, she just happens to be in the wrong (or right depending on how she feels) place at the wrong time. Just something in the air, or mind that can't really be explained or fully controlled, but either way she is going to grow.
Now these are not exactly concrete, but they are my opinion, and I'm sticking to that. Thanks for reading. BYe.
