    Check out the September 23rd Funky Winkerbean  strip here for a single appearance of "Wonder Woman," "Huntress," and "She-Hulk" archetypes. Tom Batiuk has long been a comic book fan and references have appeared from time to time particularly with a few characters being fans as well. Be forewarned though if you look further into the strip. The character's wife is dieing from cancer and it's a real tear jerker.

    The art for that panel looks very "Byrne-ish".

    Odd you should mention that- Byrne did guest art on the strip for a time.

    Nice link, Masschine.  It's true that having someone supporting you or a loved one through a deadly illness is like having a superhero team on your side. 

    It's especially meaningful to me since I have an aunt who had to go through breast cancer surgery herself.  Those of you in the pr4y3r mode, I hope you can spare a moment or a Word for her.
