Amaz0ns was down between about 1am and 10am EST this morning.  I'm not sure why, just yet.  Sorry for the trouble.

Yes, it's worked-out awkwardly for us Europeans as it's been during the main part of the day.  The meesage I was getting was from Joomla, so I presume it was a problem from their end?

Not your fault, these things happen.  :'(

That it came back up again is what matters.  ;D  8)

Joomla's the software that I use to "run" the whole site, and it couldn't talk to the database which means it couldn't load pages and such.  I don't know why.  If Joomla had somehow failed, it wouldn't have produced an error page at all.

There was an email glitch that the webhost fixed yesterday, and though it occurred to me to reboot the server after the glitch was corrected, I didn't do it.

That sums up perfectly the situation.  🙂
