ParticipantI'm looking for a friend for stories that revolve around a sea change in the physical nature of men and women; essentially any story that starts in the world as it is now (or, at least, draws its history from the current, modern world) but then changes when, for some reason, women get bigger and stronger than men. I know there are a bunch of them out there, but I thought people might have some favorites they could point out…
Help? Please?

ParticipantHmm… it depends, I suppose.
There's always the generic stuff – genetic mutation/virus/radiation causes women to get bigger and stronger because that's what you want. Viruses are more fun, really… you've got the spread, people dealing with the consequences, you can play around with governments trying to contain it, women trying to get it/avoid it, cures being made, mutations occurring… and of course, it can all start in some remote little town for no other reason than a virus mutated.
Radiation… well, I suppose if you had some change in the Sun or some nuclear test or something, you could have a situation where there's a persistent low level radiation that – you guessed it – makes women get bigger… so, as the years progress women just get bigger and bigger.
I suppose if you wanted to do a longer story, you could have some social change… maybe the equality swings the other way. Women start to become the sexual aggressors… bigger women are more successful etc. and hence, bigger women have more kids and over time, women become super Amazons.
Or maybe even a drug… I actually kind of like that idea. If you have something like birth control or another product of similar ubiquity which has the side effect of making women grow – slowly. You could have quite some fun with that. Some women dropping it, others flocking to it… you could have a cultural divergence of strong women and normal women… that might be interesting. Doubtless, some strong women wanting all the women to be big and strong…

Not really looking to start writing another project right now, although those are all good ideas; I was (and am) looking for the plethora of stories that already exist. As I say, this is really a search for a friend of mine- I just thought this would be the best place to do the looking (readers who are best informed on the subject in question…)
Thanks for the help. And, eventually, I may decide to do an alt.future type story, so thanks for the ideas, as well (I may play around with a combination of the virus mutation and the drug idea; I think that really has potential…)

ParticipantI think one of my favorites is Little Baby Daddy 2, by Puppetman, which introduced to us the universe of the Superfem.
There are others I can think about, such as the Helplesscase stories around the Superfem universe and his latest creations: Year Zero and Year One.
Also, you cannot forget Marknew's stories, specially the seemly forgotten Pendant Changes, which was going greeeaatttt (why Mark, why?!) and the also great Alt Universe.

It would be if it were a question about writing, but it's actually a question about existing stories. I debated posting in the writing Q&A, but I wanted to (as much as possible) avoid confusion. I'm not asking for ideas on something to write, not even looking for approval for a new project; I'm simply looking for a specific genre of stories that a friend is interested in.
