Funny you struck me as a Black Fury. Or a Black Spiral Dancer. *shifty eyes at Pixxxie*
You would not believe the massively negative reaction I got when my avatar for Blood Daughter of Fenris was revealed:
I never in my life thought I was have to justify female muscle on a damned Fenrir.
Note: The red streaks are permanent blood stains from being bathed in Fenris' blood, granting her the Merit: Legendary Attribute (Strength). I actually have an FMG story about it, but since its all W:TA encrypted, like four people would get it. It has some good clothes rippage and such, and even uses the old the breaking sandals bit. She was 5'1 at the start (Cindy's height), ended at about 6'1. Ish.
(NOTE: Thread started as a derailment on the How Much Would You Pay… thread.)
February 15, 2008 at 6:34 pm #67200FettParticipantSo what did people say about it…. 🙂
February 15, 2008 at 6:42 pm #67201Evan StanleyParticipant"Roided out".
"Shemale."
"That chick is OOGLY."
Comments I thought totally unprovoked from World of Darkness players. If a Get of Fenris isn't going to have a FBB as an avatar, what DOES?
The shemale one pissed me off especially.
February 15, 2008 at 7:23 pm #67202FettParticipantHell – Cindy's less ripped than the Get in the rule book! And that's a woman too!
February 15, 2008 at 8:19 pm #67203AlexGKeymasterOld story, they're just intimated by her incomparable beauty and jealous of her killer physique.
I doubt they'd make such derogatory comments to her face, she'd pin them to a wall and scare the crap out of them. But that they can get away with it anonymously on the internet, well that says it all about their degree of manhood, or I should say the lack of any thereof.
“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”
~ Mark Twain / Samuel Clemens (1907)February 15, 2008 at 9:11 pm #67204The HighlanderParticipantNice. I used to have a Get of Fenris too, but he was a pyromainac!
February 15, 2008 at 9:14 pm #67205TigersanParticipantThat's sad but unfortunately true… It happens to me alot in Second Life. Try to walk there as a massive musclechick.
There are alot weird things walking around including big walking penises – lool but they dont react to that as harsh.
I've learned to ignore people's comments like that, and i've also learned that sadly most people are robots programmed
by "almighty tube" that develops such cliches as slim clothhanger girl – the most sexy ideal of female body. Some people
are fighting to defend what tube taught them, not even thinking with their own brain for a second…. – SADFebruary 15, 2008 at 10:34 pm #67206Deadly PixxxieParticipantFunny you struck me as a Black Fury. Or a Black Spiral Dancer. *shifty eyes at Pixxxie*
Oh, no..no…no…I'm straight up Fianna, honey. I'm from Eire. I have to respresent the home country. I'm also partial to Glass Walkers.
I haven't checked out the new WOD Werewolf game. I have the corebook and Promethian…but neither WW or Vampire.
And I'd like to read that story, evan. It sounds good. 🙂
February 15, 2008 at 11:32 pm #67207The HighlanderParticipantBTW, the first 'official' game my local group had (I wasn't there) one of our members went frenzied, changed in war form and ate someone. In the middle of the local town square. In broad daylight. That went down well.
February 16, 2008 at 12:39 am #67208Vollar-TileParticipantExpect comments like that, but know that there are probably… well, certainly just as many others who like it. I'm sure if her rack had been out there for show, they would've been more focused on that, despite the muscle. Well… some anyway.
"LOL BEWBS" and such.
I personally think it's the guys, who don't have the bulk, that are offended/threatened by others who got muscle; it's just escalated when the
"others" also happen to be women.Do like Jay-Z says. Go on an' brush yer shoulder off, soldier.
