Titania and Spider-man

    This post features the confrontation between Titania and Spider-man in the issue 283 of the Amazing Spider-man series.
    There is still something I don't understand in this issue: how in hell could Spidey stand up to a frenzied Titania and finally subdue her even with the help of the black costume, while she is supposed to be in the 85tons class… In the secret Wars, he used his speed and agility to beat her, but here that's not even the case, it was during a raw test of strength.Weird. :-

    And since Titania here mentioned their first "encounter", I also post the scans of the clash which happened in number 8 of the Secret Wars series…

    59, and the rematch in web 64-65… 😉

    It's called continuity and facts checking, something of which, Marvel has long since abandoned.  Especially, when they "update" storylines by placing them in the recent past, when in truth they took place several decades ago.
