Holy crap – Colbert had a bit on tonight where he drove a British female academic at the Museum of Natural History in New York halfway to a nervous breakdown.  It's amazing that there are some people who still aren't familiar with him and fall for his schtick.  It was hilarious – she was getting so frustrated that you could almost see the capillaries in her brain popping.

I'll link it if it shows up online.

    I don't think he's well-known here in the UK.

I don't think that he's that well-known here in the US, either.

I remember you saying a while ago that you were socially left but politically right.  Here's my confession:  I watch on YouTube (and mostly agree with) Keith Olbermann on Countdown. :-[

Well considering he tried to run for president in his own state, and many people actually knew of this he IS well known in the US.

    But to a certain demographic.

I know Stephen Colbert. I first saw him on Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

He's sooooooooooo damned funny in this.

Come to think of it, Colbert is probably what every internet poster models themselves after. Cynical and arrogant, and if they're good enough at the act, funny.
