ParticipantI've been perusing the Manga offerings at Borders and today I uncovered a little gem that might be of mild interest to strength feats enthusiasts.
I bring you the title and author and distributor, nothing else I'm afraid because I know someone will dig it up and find it out here on the web…

the distributor [shadow=red,left]tokyopop[/shadow]why do I bring this? well its not a story that is untold, oh no its been told hundreds if not thousands of times and variations….
everyone familiar with Dynasty Warriors, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms will notice this story is similar to even Ikki Tousen and several other mangas and anime's that 'borrow' the characters in different settings and time periods reliving the same epic battles and duels over and over again.The Synopsis is thusly, the brothers Zhang recieve a scroll this scroll aides them in the ways of sorcery but something backfires…and the brothers…are turned into sisters…yes you heard/read right…there greed in trying to take the powers of heroes yet to come and wipe away the Han turns all the heroes to come…female exceptttttt the main leaders of the Wei, Wu, and Shu dynasties…
Great Warriors, like Zhang Fei, Xuahou Dun, and Guan Yu are now females who still bear the warrior sprits albeit in smaller and more comely versions of themselves.. (sigh…no real muscle perse but the females do possess extraordinary strength and agility and other attributes to the male counterparts, I am hoping that if the author/srtist draws another volume, he will represent Lu Bu the giant of a man in the original as… well a giantess of a woman..with even more incredible strength and fighting prowess then well almost all the other heroes combined… Dian Wei…as a battleaxe wielding busty bald terror? XD oh the humanity…)
Interesting and creepy part… Dong Zhuo, the man who ttied hardest to usurp the restoration of the Han and the other factions and his reknowned follower Diao CHan and Lu Bu is now a busty lecheress..instead of a lecher…and is keen on having her way with the comely Zhang and Guan…
rating… so far only one volume, the story isn't new but I've always wanted to see the heroes of the Three Kingdoms and the battles to follow as females though I would have preferred buffness (hint hint) XD any way I give the namga a 3.5 out of 5

the title is Shattered Angels
the synopsis: The world has come to an end (naturally) and the survivors have banded together to eke out an existance on these 'islands' of 'school like universities' (again naturally) on one there's a group of girls called Angels who have god-like strength and seemingly infinite life, but at a terrible price they must consume the lifeforce of students…and thus the battle begins anew this time threatening the lives of the remaining humans. as they seem to be playing out the very events that lead to the end earlier, only this time accelerrated..
