It's a poor choice of source material. The problem here is that there are limited ways to enhance the torso because of the t-shirt. Thus, because there's no significant width added to the torso, the arms give off the effect of being grafted on. The minor pectoral enhancement simply isn't enough to compensate for the lack of general torso expansion.
