I didnt see Ironman. I didnt see Wall-E. I didnt see that Kung Fu panda thingie that everyone raved about.

I WILL go see the new Batman movie.

The reviews are out on the internet and they are claiming it is BETTER than the last one:

Chris Nolan is the NEXT one. If those dork execs in Hollywood have any sense at all they will hire this guy to make every sci-fi movie from here on in.

Only other movie I will see this summer is the Clone Wars animated movie because I am still a sucker for Uncle George and his crazy stories.

I saw Ironman and liked it very much. haven't seen yet this season's Pixar-Dreamworks movie battle.

Nolan is really good. I still can't belñieve that people only new him by the guy that directed Memento, that movie that goes "backwards"
I'm really looking fowards for this Dark Knight "thingy"

Now, who ain't a sucker for Ol' Uncle's Tales?

Not that I don't WANT to see Ironamn or Wall-E. I'm just lazy with movies at this point in my life, and if I hear something is good I just wait for it to come out on DVD.

The Batman flick has me pretty stoked. I love Chris Nolan's story telling style, love the way he develops characters in his movies (the Scarecrow and Gordon wre particularly well done in the last movie), love his directing generally; and Christian Bale is one of the most underrated actors out there.

Clone Wars looks pretty good, even though I still wince every time I hear the name "Count Dooku"  😛

I dunno about you guys, but something has to be pretty spectacular to drag me down to the local cineplex these days. Around here, an evening showing runs $10, and thats before you get your $6 bag of stale popcorn and $5 soda. I could drone on about the virtues of modern movie goers, but I wont bore you with my smatterings. Lets just say I either go really early on a weekday, or not at all. I have high hopes for Heath's performance though. Curious to see what everyone thinks.

I'm also waiting for Heath's performance, although I don't know if anybody will be objective or realistic. His death has made this movie something special, because I think a lot of people that wouldn't normally go to see a Superhero movie will go to see Heath's last performance.

I think I'll always go to the cineplex. I have long ago droped buying the soda/popcorn combo, and have started to go really early to the first screenings of the day. For me it's kind of special to see a movie to the cinema.

I was more excited in watching Hellboy 2. But it's coming out in August over here. I was impressed by Nolan's work, but it didn't convey the brilliant detective work that I like about Batman.

Still, this week "Warlords" is coming, starring Jet Li. Now that's a film I want to see. None of the superhero films I've seen lately convey brotherhood anymore. You won't even find it in the Justice League.

Err, I'm pretty sure that if it's like the cartoon, Clone Wars will have little if anything to do with George Lucas aside from being Star Wars.

Also, go see Iron Man at the very least.
    Trust me.
    It's better than Dark Knight.

Iron Man was a good movie, I'll give you that.  But I'm guessing that "The Dark Knight" will be better.

Any movie that draws comparisons to "The Godfather Part 2" and "Heat"  (at least from what I've heard from some early reviews) has to be one of the best movies of the year, not just the summer movie season.

What do you mean?  Seems to me it was his idea.  And he has a Producer credit on the movie.  So it seems he was heavily involved.

Heat? That was a good but not great movie.
GF 2 well yeah thats a classic (one of the rare occasions where the sequel was actualy better than the original)

Wall-E, HellBoy 2, Ironman, Dark Knight, Clone Wars…wow
Hollywood actually seems to have got the summer right for once
