KeymasterHmmm, rape is not something to joke about.
Just a suggestion, maybe you might want to revise her statement?

From http://www.bcsdesign.com/spit/spitabout.htm
Each day, the media, corporations, and governments are embracing the concept of political correctness or P.C. and as a result, the world has become "less funny." The effects of P.C. knows no boundaries. Employees must now avoid telling off-color jokes around the office coffee pot, cartoon characters are being forced into major lifestyle changes or erased from existence, and web sites are being labeled "radicals" for offering what the self-appointed P.C. police have categorized as unacceptable humor or topics. All of this to appease a minority of self-interest groups, who if invited to a party, would hog all the food and then bore the guests to death.you cannot rape the willing

ParticipantAside from the rape aspect, I do enjoy these altered comic posting tremendously. ;D Maybe she could be saying "ravish" instead?

ParticipantThanks for sharing this well painted morph Condorman.
Since 'Artie' bought Cheryl the life changing tomes I'm guessing it was more of a long term gift to himself than for her. 😉
Artie not knowing Cheryl's capacity for memorization and repetition along with the Type A personality that demands perfection, and thusly much practice, makes for the ironic awesome in Artie's predicament. While his inner monologue is saying "Uh Oh" his canvas concealed cartoon piston seems to indicate otherwise.

Keymasteryou cannot rape the willing
Then why use that word?
To claim on your part that my objection is PC is utter rubbish.
In reality you are only helping to diminish the real impact and meaning of the word for the unwilling victims of such vile act.
Think about it.
Again, I repeat, rape is not a joke. Case closed.

Participantyou cannot rape the willing
And, by definition, the willing cannot be raped.
From Webster's Dictionary….
Main Entry: rape
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): raped; rap·ing
1 a archaic : to seize and take away by force b : despoil
2 : to commit rape onAnd from Healthline….
Definition: rape
Rape is defined as sexual intercourse forced on a person without his or her permission. If the person is willing, obviously the act is with permission.

ParticipantSad that a great piece is ruined by the inappropriate use of a word. Not only is the word rape offensive and upsetting to many people, but it's just ot the correct word. Ravish or (pardon my French) f**k senseless would convey the same wilful abandon without negative connotations.

ParticipantI really like the artwork and the general premise of the cartoon but unfortunately I must agree with Cpbell and Alex on this one. Rape is a vile term and I would urge you to please not use it again. Please understand, I don't believe you are being reprimanded and nobody has criticized the artwork so please do not take this as a "Don't post here again!" comment, I am just asking that violent crimes not be taken lightly.
