website for comparing heights

    I'm looking to starting writing some proper stories, however one thing that I find a bit difficult at the moment is determing where men of a certain height come up to women of a certain height. For example, if a male character is 5'0, and a female character is 7'5, where on her body does he come up to? Her chest? Her breasts? I remember a site some years ago where you could determine where you would come up to on various tall women depending on your height. Are there any such sites still around?

    Thanks, however is there a site which shows what body part a man would come up onto a woman depending on their heights? For example, I'm writing a story at the moment, in which I want to depict a couple where the man comes up to the woman's belly button but he isn't a dwarf. He's around 5'0, and he may be a few inches shorter (perhaps as short as 4'6 or so), and the woman is obviously incredibly tall (7'0 +). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    This is a little something I made when I needed help imagining height.
    I’m using a pic of everyone’s favorite Tetsuko to illustrate without any permission from DC Matthews. So, Dave, if you’re seeing this and you want it removed, just write me.

    So, this is the pic.

    It’s very simple to use.
    Say, you want to find out how tall she has to be so his eye level is at her belly button.
    As we can see, eyes are at about 92, belly buttons at about 62. Divide 62 by 92 and you get 0.674. Now take his height in inches (a 5 ft person would be 60 inches) and divide it by 0.674.
    60 : 0.674 = 89
    She is 89 inches tall – or 7 ft 5.

    Of course this isn’t completely accurate as a) Tetsuko isn’t standing straight and b) the ratio of head to the rest of the body is of course different if a person is very tall or very small.
