ParticipantI am a big fan of the DC animated genre. I saw last year that they were coming out with a new movie in February of this year. I was looking online for the release date when I came across this;
If you notice in the picture of the box art, wonder woman is sporting a nice flexed bicep. Here is to hoping that she gets a good amount of screen time and that we get more of her muscles in action.

She certainly wasn’t shy about flexin her strength in last yrs animated Wonder Woman movie – all of the Amazons, for that matter. Nice shoulders on ’em.
However, the storyline could have been slightly better, and partly ripping off “Amazons Attack”, but with the Army of Ares smashing Washington into rubble.

Participantyeesh, check out the mug on Batman. Looks like Gorilla Grod’s plan to turn everyone into apes succeeded on Earth-2. Anyway, I am looking forward to this because JAMES WOODS as Owlman. These DC animated movies have had some pretty inspired casting.

ParticipantI officially dig evil WW after this. My only gripe is I kinda think evil JL would beat good JL, but that’s an argument for another site..

ParticipantFinished watching it last night, and Superwoman had quite a bit of screen time / smashing time. I was pleasantly impressed.

ParticipantI love these DC Direct to Video Movies….
I have been pretty loyal to these so far. Been collecting them for at least the last three years. These movies have been rocking. Wonder Woman was bitchen, Green Lantern rocked, and I dug Batman/Superman:Public Enemies. I am really loyal and enjoy buying and watching these movies.
These animated movies seem to dig and have quite a bit of powerfully strong built women. But I have to admit Superwoman in Crisis on Two Earths really rocked. She was built, super tall and strong and has an incredible sultry voice.
Check out this link to see Superwoman kick Batman’s ass. If you scroll down you can read an interview on Gina Torres who voices Superwoman.
Really awesome stuff.

ParticipantI REALLY loved that Batman scene.
I’d also like to quote something Gina said in the interview which I felt mirrors what a lot of us feel.
What I love about super heroes, and Superwoman in particular, is that in that comics world they’re all curvaceous. There aren’t really any skinny *****es in the world of comic books. They’ve got muscle. I like that. I appreciate that. They’re strong. And it’s important to have strong images of women out there, women who aren’t afraid of expressing themselves, women who aren’t afraid of taking chances, women who aren’t afraid of their own power. Unfortunately, being a woman in society means that sometimes you have to sort of quell what is instinctually broad and magnificent and magical about you. I think a lot of people feel that way. I don’t know if that’s necessarily relegated to being a woman, because we’re all so worried about fitting in and not sticking out. So what’s great about this whole genre is that it’s all about sticking out. It’s all about being magnificent to the highest power.
