ParticipantThe origins of the feud between Ms. Victory and Valkyra (originally Panzer during World War II) in The untold origin of Ms. Victory.
Too bad that We don’t see the rematch: That big oaf of Cap Paragon didn’t let Ms. Victory the time to get her hands on her nemesis. *sigh*[/URL]

ParticipantGreat find, hadn’t seen or heard of it before. I take it there’s no more available? Really like the classic forties cartooning style.

Actually she was a Norwegian superhero by the name of Valkyra as was mentioned in the original post.
I’m not sure if they still have that comic on the AC Comics website or not. I have the original comic locked away in the vault. 🙂

ParticipantThanks for this look into a war era Supertale.
ze fly, there’s a Role Playing Game line called “Godlike” with super powered combatants appearing during WW2.
The overall effect is that Axis and Allied superbeings tended to cancel each other out.
Sort of like “Saving Private Ryan” and “X-Men” at the same time.

Looks like “Untold Origin of Ms. Victory” is $7.00 in the AC Webstore (not bad for a comic that old)
Untold Origin at AC WebstoreAnd here’s the first appearance of Panzer in her Valkyra persona, in FemForce #62:
FemForce #62 in WebstoreI’m fond of Valkyra as a character. I’ve written her and her partner-in-crime Proxima into cameos in two of the Gargantarama stories I’ve done for AC.

I should’ve guessed that our resident femuscle comic super fan drew that cover! I expect nothing less from the creator of Ms. Muscle in Dial H for Heroes! 😀
Thanks from me and many others for that one, Delmo!! 🙂
