KeymasterIn what’s got to be the biggest Stargate-related news of the year, Joseph Mallozzi, executive producer for both Stargate Universe and Stargate Atlantis, announced details about an upcoming crossover between the two series, while at the same time teasing us with a big mystery.
Here’s what Mallozzi had to say:
With word from producer John G. Lenic that the deals have been closed on those Atlantis alums, we can now move forward on the script, secure in the knowledge that both extra-special guest stars will actually be on hand to say the dialogue written specifically for them. Great news for fans of the old series. There was a reluctance to move ahead with an SGA crossover, particularly on my part, because the feeling was it would step on the timing of the SGA movie, Stargate: Extinction, the events of which directly proceed the Atlantis series finale, Enemy at the Gate. But given the delay on the movie front and the ideal premise pitched out by Remi Aubuchon and Brad Wright, it was decided to go ahead with the crossover.
Which makes us go, “Hooray!”
But it also makes us go—”Hey! Which Atlantis stars are you talking about?”
Unfortunately, we won’t be finding out exactly which “extra-special guest stars” will be popping up on SGU until Syfy makes its official announcement. But that gives us a great excuse to speculate, because Mallozzi promises answers to the following questions:
Are Sheppard and Nancy rekindling their relationship? Are McKay and Keller married yet? Has Carson completely adjusted to the life he left behind? Are Rodney and Radek still having it out on a daily basis? Is Torren teaching his fellow pre-schoolers how to stick fight? What’s going on with Ronon and Amelia? Was Woolsey happily reunited with his yorkie? Did Major Lorne come out with any personal revelations? Again, stay tuned.
I’m guessing it’s too much to hope that “extinction” will have this stupid Destiny ship just blow the hell up so we can go back to having new episodes of “Stargate Atlantis” instead of this grimdark angsty excuse for a stargate series called universe….so here’s a picture of Lt. Hooters the only 2 good things on Universe 😛

ParticipantCompared to many of the shows on Sci-Fi, it is not that bad.

You are correct. Show not that great. But sure is a lot of large chested women running around on it.
Check out the down shirt photo of the blonde running in the picture. And check out how much chest area all the actress showing on that show here!
They never look that busty on the show, though…I have to imagine that those ladies are “enhanced” in the photos. Either some Wonderbras under tight clothing to accentuate what they’ve got, or some retouching of the photo (or even a bit of both). Lt. Boobs has the only pair worth tuning in for, and she’s not around much. The finale added Rhona Mitra in tight leather to the mix, but her character may not be around for long (depending on how The Gates does, since she’s starring in that).
I prefer Warehouse 13, and Eureka’s recent premiere did a mild “reset” with a twist, so I’m tuning in to those (and the relative light tone of both is certainly welcome). Sadly not much else to check out on that network. 🙁

I’m hoping this season some sort of virus gets out that causes Jo and Allison to have a hot on screen makeout session….in underwear….since it’s only basic cable, not that I’ve pictured that in my head 47,000 times or anything.

KeymasterForget SGU, and SGA, for that matter – wasn’t much of a fan of it, too much whining by McKay.
IMHO SG-1 was, and still is, the best of all three series.
And that’s Jack O’Neill – spelt w/ two LLs . . .

Yep. I’ve bought the SG-1 series on DVD, even the later seasons that I wasn’t much invested in. But I won’t be getting any episodes of SGA or SGU.
