GTSKatePerhaps I shouldn’t say anything, but I don’t see that you’ve altered anything but the names in these stories…and although none of my stories are represented, I know how I would feel if you changed the names just for the heck of it in those works.
Although I’m pleased that you’ve chosen to share these stories on this board, I guess I’m a little bothered that you’ve made alterations in the first place, and I’m guessing without asking the original authors.
If you were going to change anything, I’d prefer to see the author’s permission, and then don’t just change names if you get that permission…make a new take on the story. Make it from a different character’s point of view, or how the core story affected someone else…that sort of thing. Otherwise, don’t change anything.
But again, I suppose that’s just me.
