Guilty as charged… I actually thought of adding "…channelling Rob Phipps" in my text, but dropped it because I didn't think I managed to get the sense of FUN you have in a Phipps drawing. His drawings look deceptively simple – his women exude a sense of exuberance in their power (if that's the correct phrasing).
