The 27th anniversary of the cancelation of my former classmate’s vaccination appointment is coming up next month, but l don’t know exactly when. This morning l realized that if his parents had been able to cancel his vaccination appointment by phone, the whole ridiculous situation wouldn’t have ever happened at all. l was also wondering if the nurse was reprimanded in any way for failing to verify that my former classmate wasn’t with us anymore BEFORE having him paged by intercom. l also realize that if my teacher and l hadn’t stopped the appointment, the nurse could well have been charged with anything from an infraction of the rules to an attempted assault on my former classmate despite his not being physically present at the school anymore.
