I was looking for a 70’s comic book (i think) that My uncle gave me in 82-83 i was really young and was into robots!! I can’t remenber the title it was about a indestuctible suite of armor that guy sat in (convicted felon was testing it) the last test was a direct hit of a nuclear weapon, the felon refuses to leave the suit and excapes with it , steal money and tries to free other prisoners , but falls ill ,break in to a hospital and tells a doctor his symptoms , , they realized what it is and that there a cure…. radiation but it will not penatrate the suit he have the leave the armor and he would be captured. so he goes off the the mountains to either die in the suit or leave it and cured .

One from the late 70s that I recall well was issue #88 of Gold Key Comics – Twilight Zone. Had a kinda dark take on the “Charles Atlas” muscle builder ads that used show up in comics and magazines. The main character got a built-up physique fast alright with the barbell that he mail-ordered, but then discovered as the day progressed that he was continuing to slowly grow ever larger, ever more monsterously ponderous in size.

“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”
    ~ Mark Twain / Samuel Clemens (1907)
