These are some superhero renderings I did over the years. The She-Hulk pic has already been posted elsewhere but what the heck, it fits the theme 😀 .

As I say before, I love the way you draw them, but it never hurt repeating it. My favorite is Miss Gen 13, Catherine Fairchild.
Perhaps some new things soon, I wish for it so much.

Isn't her name Caitlin?

February 18, 2006 at 4:56 pm #22753Red_SilverParticipantYou know, I've always been curious how you get the lines the way that you do. Markers and such. I've tried to do it myself, but is pretty pail compared to yours ^^ Nice superheroes, did you ever create your own type of hero? We have seen superstrong females, but none in costume in an original design or perhaps you don't really like superheroes?
February 18, 2006 at 11:02 pm #22754Mr.ShhhParticipantHey Redsilver, big fan of your stuff! I got the line quality in these pics with felt markers. I never really learned photoshop, so I did all the coloring with pencil crayon or water color. Re-tracing all those black lines after coloring over them was a pain in the ass!
I guess like any comic book inspired artists, I invented my own superheroes. The one that most applies to this board would be a teenage hero named Demon Hunter. Here's a quick pic.

The left is her superhero outfit, the right is her alter-ego. I'll post up some more sketches of her if people want.

I would like to see more of her, if it's all right. Perhaps I could do a sketch of her then ^^
February 19, 2006 at 1:11 am #22756Mr.ShhhParticipantAre you kidding? Your stuff is fantastic! I wish I could've achieved the kind of solidarity your characters possess. They always appear to have real "weight" which makes them seem more real. I'd LOVE to see you take a shot at Demon Hunter .
Here's a few more sketches. As you'll see, I never really settled on her exact body type. In some shots she's skinny and busty, in others she's quite muscular.

The basic story had something to do with a shy high school girl being possessed by the essence of a mystical demon hunter. The hunter was chasing down a group of evil demons from another dimension who had escaped to earth. The high school girl happened to be in the wrong place when the hunter jumped through dimensions and the two merged. The girl gained many of the hunter's powers – super strength, agility. A scar also appeared on her cheek that allowed her to transform into that skimpy blue outfit and form a magical sword.
