ParticipantHonestly how many artists on this board fallow the human anatomy, next to none myself included. As much as I would love to see a six foot muscle goddess of a woman with huge ripped 26 inch biceps It is highly unlikely. đ I really like Mr Shh drawings even though they have more veins than I would put into my own art. Oh and buy the way I would love to see the full pic of your avatar!

ParticipantOh ho ho, now that's constructive! đ
I told him to buy an anatomy book.
Obviously I am criticizing his portrayal of the human body.
and 00tree – THat's no excuse for not knowing how it's put together.

ParticipantThis board has very few pictures that fallow anything close to realistic anatomy. The artwork here is all the inturpetation of the artist's characters. Your post was very nondiskript and seemed like a slam. I'm sorry if you were offended by my post, I just felt that Abyss had an addiquit responce.

ParticipantNo offense taken by Muffin Man's comment. All comments are appreciated. If I was a professional after all, I'd be doing this for a living.

ParticipantYou've got talent. Definitely.
And even if you don't deem yourself a professional, your attitude and response definitely are. Two thumbs up. b ^_^ d

ParticipantI was close to clipping some of the posts from this thread but it's nice to see everyone managed to make nice as it were. Sometimes in textual posts emphasis or intent can be misconstrued so please read your post over before you post it.
Annnnnnyway. I like your stuff Mr Shhh. It's got a nice feel too it.

ParticipantIt's certainly not the first negative/blunt/hostile post like that I've seen from Muffin Man. To be honest, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been banned already. Or at least warned. On a lot of forums he'd be considered little more than a troll.
Hey!!! What did I say about calming down and playing nice? Was I too obtuse?-Masschine

There's less caustic ways to say it, though; I got PMed by the Mods about my post back when I made it in response to yours, and they were in agreement with me on this.
And 00tree has a point; there's a reason why it's called "art", and I daresay Mr Shhh isn't the only (let alone the first) artist to post on these forums who had done art that defied human anatomy. I suppose, if given the chance, you'd like to tell Pablo Picasso to "go buy an anatomy book" as well?
Your post was not constructive, let alone constructive criticism. It was trolling. Criticism would have been something like "I don't like how you don't follow human anatomy". WHAT you say not nearly as important as HOW you say it.April 9, 2006 at 1:52 am #2271800tree
