The website Soccerlens has an interesting article on women's footy in response to the Chelsea women's team signing one Lorrie Fair, who broke all the old dictats by having played for the San Francisco Glens mens' team.

It also makes reference to two challenge tennis matches between the Williams sisters and a low-ranked male ATP player in 1998 where the guy whupped first one sister, then the other in successive matches. I must confess that I hadn't heard of this event before, and was wondering if any members had any info about this event?
