    Folks… I don't like leaving y'all with only 9 parts out of 10 for Like a Weed, but it seems that my English training center wants us to go for a company trip to the famed hills and mountains of Guilin.  And I'll be away from the keyboard from Saturday, Aug 5 until Wednesday, Aug 9.  I'll try to get some photos, and scan them.

    And pencil Part 10 on a notebook while I ride that night train if I'm not snoozin'. 

    The funny thing is, there's 10 Chinese female teachers, and 2 of us guy honkies in this little troupe.  And in our last conference meeting, they warned us boys to beware of local women that come knocking at our hotel doors for …erm… unrequested "companionship."  :-[ And they said they'd get the door for us if it got really bothersome.

    Heh.  I feel like the greenhorn lost explorer being protected by a tribe of Asian amazons.  ;D
