ParticipantEgads, you must be rich then
I was doing better back then, yes, but I was only doing one commission every 1-2 months. I stopped doing commissions because honestly, I got tired of drawing She-Hulk (and I got tired of all the fem-dom requests, even though I repeatedly told people that I do not do them). It's part of the reason I don't draw fan art of any variety, also.

I didn't think you did that many She-hulks, at least I haven't seen that many on your site.
How about putting in you reserve the right to refuse request that you don't like? But I guess it's not important, since you don't do commissions or fan art anymore.
Before you got tired of fan art, what did you like to draw the most? Game characters and such?
I would have guessed Masshine would have like if you did Aki once.
Sorry for being nosy, just curious.July 29, 2006 at 8:13 am #18133Dr.Otto

These were done in a direct-market fashion, wherein the original was sent to the buyer.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with those.

She-Hulk, mostly. If not She-Hulk, then Titania. iF not Titania, then Power Girl. The usual suspects.

Sorry for being nosy, just curious.Yeah, there's just this thing, though…people have a tendency to get bent if you draw one person's character, and not theirs. The minute you do one, suddenly everybody's after you to do one of some (or all) of their characters, and it's just not simething I have the time or inclination for. So basically, to avoid hard feelings within the community, I only do fan art on a for-pay basis, and it's not cheap.

ParticipantHey I'd love to get the good Dr. to do an Aki. I haven't asked because… Well I've seen and read how little time he has and haven't had the nerve to ask what he'd charge for that matter. Funny thing is I didn't want to alienate him either or others here. Plus it's so nice just to see him posting I didn't want to get in the way. And I don't ask for Fem-Dom stuff. Ever.

ParticipantI 'fixed' the highlights on my colored version of DaiKon's Aki. She's on page 5 of this thread.

ParticipantI may actually get around to doing Aki at some point, now. I can't say when or what, but when the inspiration hits. The DCM Tetsuko/Sonya bit was well-received, and I'm actually on a bit of a fan-artish road right now, for reasons unknown.

What about the one you said you'd do for me? ::)
Ah, I'm just messing with you. Fan art is something I dont get much of for reasons I already know 😉 (For one it helps to have fans! 😀 lol..)ALSO. Egad. No really, the prices. The most I've ever made on a comission was $140 because it was a four-pic full-colour job. I charge like $10 at most for pencils and around $15 for inks, $25 to $30 for colours. Why? Because no one will pay me to draw this crap…
