A beautiful pic for a really nice story. Thanks.

Praytell your thoughts, it would help me learn.
June 26, 2006 at 11:44 am #33534TC2ParticipantThat's incredible, the image itself speak so much!
Here's what I see:
With the woman looking up, it feels like she is looking towards the heavens almost as if surveying her home. Watching over the stars she takes care of, looking beyond ready to defend those who are suffering. An angel from above ready to fight even though she would prefer not to.
Her supple body suggest years and years of fighting, training, becoming stronger in order to serve the greater good. Becoming a champion for the weak, a hero for all to see! A symbol of courage and power! The quintessence of feminity mixed with incredible feminine power.
Beautiful work Mika, I'm adding this one to my collection of your works.
June 26, 2006 at 5:59 pm #33535The_Pimp_NeonBlackParticipantThere is very little that I's can add that The Collector (2) has not already made utterence.
This is a spectacular work, in all terms and meanings.
The art and lines. The colour and shade. And the very Soul of the piece speak so deeply to my's blackened Heart that it would make I weep (if I's were still capable of such a feat).
She is a mirror to your own Soul which you bespoke to I and you have managed to do what so many others fail to achieve. And that is keep shape to your Soul.I's knew that you would adore dear Alexander's work when you did read it and expected such a work from you, though this is far above the high expectations that I's had of your fine hand.
Thank you for posting it and thank you once again to dear Alexander for being the seed of this work.
Peace

June 27, 2006 at 6:56 am #33538David C. MatthewsParticipantVery nice work!!
June 27, 2006 at 8:34 am #33539mikazukiParticipantThank you. I know I keep saying it, but encouragement is like rice to an artist's bowl.
Collector-san: This was merely a study sketch, but you have instilled much meaning into it. Interesting how some of one's best work comes from spur-of-the-moment inspirations. Again, you've helped me to grasp what it takes to draw with one's passion.
Neon-sama: Your praise is beyond me *bows* My husband also says the image bears my resemblance – if I were that well-endowed – to which I raised my eyebrow *laughs* But now I see that it is my soul which he speaks of. Looking at the image again, yes, she is certainly someone I would aspire to.

I's do believe that your illustration is what you aspires to be, dear Bee-sama, as Isaiah is what Shadow aspires to be -in the spiritual sense.
You have depicted the very echo and essence of your very illuminesant Soul and that speaks to all of us.
Not because you put more effort into the piece than others but because you need to make effort to make your inner self shine though. So, again, thank you for the wonderful work.
Please tell your husband that is both mose wise and most correct.
Peace

I really like the "artistic" colouring you choose. It makes her look even more real.
Your picture is pretty close to perfection.
