Word of advice, direct linking of images from the Girlwithmuscle site doesn’t work. (Ditto w/ Amg-lite.)

I’ve fixed them, removing the HTML [ img ] and making them into regular URL links.
They should come up now with using a right click / open in new tab..

Instead, next time either use an off-site hosting for pictures (i.e. Imageshack etal) or use the forum attachments feature.

That’s weird, because having had the same problem with Instagram with my Paige Spiranac post yesterday, I ran preview while I was creating the post specifically to see if the pictures would work. They did both in preview and when I actually made the post. Could it be a browser thing? (I was using IE this morning)

What I do plead guilty to, however, is putting this in the wrong forum! Could someone please slide it over to Female Athletes when they have a chance? Sorry about that.

I’ve moved the thread to Female Athetes section. Not a problem. 😉 B)

As to why this happens – the not missing, then later missing pictures in direct linking an image into a post – in the the case with AMG-Lite, Andy a long while back set up a block on his site to keep ppl from direct linking images. Don’t know if that’s the case with Girlswithmuscle, but I would suppose it’s the same with them. All I can recomend is to save the pictures you want to use on your computer to the Picture folder, and then either upload them using the Attachments (you’re limited to eight in all @ Amaz0ns) feature or use a third party web hosting site for pictures like Imageshack or Photobucket, as examples.

Personally, I perfer to use the Attachment feature here cuz its easier.

Depending on how you want to present them, pictures can be either directly inserted into the post,
or as in this case, I’ve left as a thumbnail to be clicked on..
