Ali Huston may be the strongest figure competitor – ever. And we’re not just talking physically, but mentally as well. As a nursing student at Creighton University in her home town of Omaha, Nebraska, she had degree residency requirements starting at all hours of the day and night and sometimes found herself doing her cardio at 4am to prepare for competition! On the figure stage, she became the NPC National Collegiate overall champion in 2006 and she placed 6th in figure tall at only her third show ever, the 2007 Junior National Championships. At 5’9″ and gorgeous, the statuesque Ali competes at a contest weight of approximately 150 pounds.

Although she set out to be a figure competitor when she began lifting a few years ago, Ali took a detour into power lifting and had a tremendous impact on the sport. By age 19 she had set eleven teenage world power lifting records in three weight classes and had recorded a 551 pound squat, a 275 pound bench press and a 518 pound deadlift in competition.

In 2008, Ali will be graduating from college and competing nationally at the NPC Junior National Championships in Chicago and the NPC USA Championships in Las Vegas. Her web site AliFigure.com will soon be launched, and in the meantime you can find hundreds of photos and video clips of Ali in the FigureRX private VIP back stage area. Her forum is your chance to ask Ali anything you want to know, as well as comment on her career, articles and postings
