    OHHH La'Guston Work " THE WOMAN"
    he was a talented artist in the early 1920's.
    I have a 1968 book with all his works in it.
    He like muscular females. great taste.

    That is hilarious that I go to DC every Wednesday and Monday for class, and Ive never been near those. Which museum is it at? I might have to use one of my days off to check it out.

    The statue is in the sculpture garden of the Hirschhorn museum, which is near to the Air & Space Museum.

    I think there is another of LaChaise's statues (Ascension?) in the Philadelphia art museum (the one with the steps from Rocky).
    Also there is another cast of "The Woman" in the sculpture garden at UCLA.  What doesn't come across in photos, is that the statue is about 7 feet tall.
