Needless to say, Joker didn’t survive the encounter, would need a spatula to clean up the mess.
Hold it: Joker’s dead? For real?

Oops, should have put in the corollary that it was only in that particular issue – it was a one-shot story-line involving the romantic interchange between WW and Batman (some of this has had a spill over in the JLU series on the Cartoon Network) and its possible ramifications if she continued in that direction with him. One of the scenarios being that the Joker kills Batman and she literally goes berserk in grief and rage – pasting him (actually raking him along its surface like a plow) into a nearby wall until he’s dead – and then some.
Some other scenarios include one where she becomes Batwoman, working at his side (if you think Bats is ruthless, she’s even more so) or one with her as Queen of Themiscyra, he as her Warrior consort, leading the Amazons into battle. . . .

July 11, 2005 at 10:54 pm #7473Mr BurroughsParticipantThe artist of that issue, ChrisCross, is EXCELLENT when it comes to drawing muscular women. He drew a forgotten Milestone comics (the DC imprint back in the 1990s) series called "Heroes," which included a very, very hot character named "Donner."
Donner was the product of Nazi genetic research – a 6’6”, muscular blonde who could bench press 3 tons. She’d previously appeared in a comic called "Shadow Cabinet," where she was portrayed as a typical-looking bodybuilder. But ChrisCross made her HUGE. Here’s a picture:

Unfortunately, Donner was one of six characters so there were probably only 10-12 good panels of her in the whole series. Good to see the artist taking his business elsewhere.

July 12, 2005 at 10:39 am #7476EricParticipantI bought ALL the issues of "Shadow Cabinet" JUST because of Donner! (the salesclerk thought I was nuts 😉
Not only was "Shadow Cabinet" a good series, it had a hot muscle-girl in it. 😀
Later, I bought "Heroes" for the same reason…
