ParticipantRecently folks, I fond some interesting news on the net. Besides the obvious first read, two yhinks popped in my mind. Give This article a read, and then come back and let's discuss it.

Now, let's discuss:
First: Nick Cage could be a schmoo?
Second: Bring the Shulkie casting thing On!

ParticipantFasola – I hope I'm not being terminally stupid or rude here, but what in that article makes you think that Cage could be a schmoe? The fact that he's involved with the film is, I'm afraid probably nothing to do with it. Please enlighten me.

I agree. I don't think just liking the Idea of a SH movie maves you a schmoe. I HOPE that marvel comics takes this offer seiousely but I highly doubt they will. I think they would have done away with character long ago if not for her loyal fans such as many of the people on this board.

KeymasterSecond: Bring the Shulkie casting thing On!
Only if I'm given total and absolute creative control in selecting the person for the role . . . 8)

. . . because I'm best qualified to please her hard-core audience in their physical expections. 😉

ParticipantMendes is fine–she's got the She-Hulk (and every other sexy white female character) juicy lips, if nothing else–and a decent actress, but do we really want another Jessica Alba-type hullabaloo (I always wanted to use that word in a sentence) for casting another popular white(ish) character role with a Mexican-American actress?
And Fasola, Cage is no schmoo, schmoe–whatever (I really wish you guys would drop that word into the crapper)–just a rich nerd/geek with a dash of freak.
February 12, 2007 at 6:18 am #47278Delmo Walters Jr.
ParticipantCasting Eva as Jessica Walters kinda throws the basics of the character in the crapper as, while Jessica isn't unattractive, she isn't as hot as Shulkie. Casting Eva as Shulkie is questionable because I don't see Eva bulking up to play her. Nothing will probably come of this.

ParticipantI don't think Nick Cage was being completely serious there. It's already been months since Avid Arad stepped down as head of Marvel Studios.

Too true. Apparently Cage was screwing with the reporters.

Well, as a Brit, I'm happy to stop using a US English word. Appreciator of the Athletic Female Form (AAFF), perhaps?
