Animated Powergirl coming in Sept

    Well apparently…

    This September 29 (2009), Warner Home Video will be releasing a special Superman/Batman animated feature based on the "Public Enemies" storyline. Well apparently, there will at least be one Kryptochick in it — Power Girl!!

    And she will be voiced by none other than Allison Mack (Chloe from Smallville). I dunno the extent of the part of her appearance but apparently a special feature on the Green Lantern: First Flight DVD (out on July 28th) confirms the casting! Woo-hoo!

    Chloe as the voice of Power Girl huh?! I'm liking this already! (Though I prefer Lois over Chloe. hehe) But, its good to see PG is going to be in an animated movie. Hopefully she crushes some steel or throws some bad guys across the city, muhaha. 😛

    I probably was going to watch this with friends anyway, but now I have even more reason to pester them about getting it.  ;D

    Erica Durance is pretty sexy but I like the Smallville version of Lois much less than Chloe, and Alison Mack is just adorable.  Definitely glad to see her in something else, though to my recollection Peeg doesn't do too much in that story (maybe they'll expand her role a bit for the movie).

    Smallville just needs to DIE. They got rid of Lana – thank fuck – but Lois is almost as annoying. I watch the show to prepare myself for mental torture.

    Also, I hear that Chloe is going to leave… I suppose we'll have to see how her voice acting skills are. I'm looking forward to both the upcoming DC animated features – and I'm hoping they're more Wonder Woman, less Doomsday. Not like DC have any well known characters they might put into live action films… like a certain OTHER comic company.
