Anime DVD Suggestions….

    I am going to buy myself a DVD Anime set tomorrow…my budget is around 70 bucks or so…can anybody recommend a good DVD?

    Ideally, I would like to see some strong female characters.  Maybe some amazons, some FMG, muscle growth, kinda like Iron Virgin June, but if anything some cool Anime would be cool.

    I was thinking may "The GetBackers" someone at work told me that Bleach is good, also Helsing….any suggestions folks?

    While I like bleach alot its one of those dvd collections which cost big…Personally I think you should check out youtube first, catch the first episodes of whatever anime you might think you like then go purchase it.

    Recently Ive watched 12 kingdoms or rather im in the middle and its good….for action  Basilisk, Samurai 7,  or even Shadow skill…which only shadow skill has any kind of female muscle…

    Yeah..I need to finish picking up Shadow Skill DVD's. I still have the first 3 lol.

    I recommend Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, Fate/ Stay Night, Gungrave, Devillady, and Elfen Lied.

    Yea,
    Personally, I woulds recommend Devilman Lady, its simply one superb series. -plus, she's muscled from her alter-ego as well- If you never seen it before, its a rollercoster ride into Hell…then back again, right back into Hell and every way inbetween! -you would never guess the ending outcome too, lol- (throw away all logic on good vs. evil, its not what it seems here) I also happen to buy the entire RARE DML Manga set from Japan too -all 17 books- and though the anime is great, the book is much more darker, disturbed and graphic. -definitely a more muscular/insane DML then the anime) If you'd like to see a few pages, I'd be happy to share some with the group. 🙂
