I already knew that the people behind AOl were idiots when they named the 40 greatest racing drivers ever, (I'm a motor-racing enthusiast and amateur historian, and some of their choices were baffling to say the least) but now they're really shown how stupid they are with this:

So, according to AOL, Sienna Miller (darling of Heat magazine readers but hardly a hottie) is the sexiest actress of the current era?!  Jess Biel is only 12th?!  OK, let's say that they're not femuscle fans – for Pete's sake, Holly Valance is only third?  A curvy, blonde sexpot like her?!

OK, I have to completely agree with you cpbell.  That list is total crap.

Completely awful ratings are as follows
30. Scarlett Johansson – 'nuf said
28. Megan Fox – Have you seen Transformers yet?  If not, do so now.
26. Kate Beckinsale – WTF!
18. Jennifer Aniston
15. Eva Longoria

I wouldn't disagree with Eva and Jennifer so much if they hadn't put the following in front of them.
10. Rachel Bilson – a supporting actress from the OC (Rachel who?)
9. Lindsay Lohan – if you don't mind having to go to rehab to see her.
6. Jessica Simpson – Worst actress of our times.
2. Cameron Diaz – can stay on the list, just not at no. 2.

I agree that the list sucks!

However creating a list that everyone can agree on is close to impossible.
I found a couple women missing from the list: Denise Richards and Alyssa Milano should have been on the voting list.  I'm probably missing a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

If you take out the obvious women like Jessica Alba, Halie Berry and Angelina Jolie there are still some that I totally agree with
1) Cameron Diaz – a girl that can belch and still look like that would totally be on my friend list
2) Holly Valance – um yeah
3) Eva Mendes – so gooing over her in Ghost Rider
4) Keira Knightley – I don't own the Pirate movies just for the story line
5) Jessica Biel – One look at her boulder shoulders in Blade 3 and I was hooked
6) Carmen Electra – come on she strips to keep in shape
7) Beyonce Knowles – for the Ebony lovers out there (booty)
8) Megan Fox – ScottG said it 'go see Transformers'
9) Natalie Portman – Dancers' body and a killer smile.  Plus she got it on with Darth Vader
10) Jennifer Garner – I'm so jealous of Ben right now.
11) Jessica Simpson – O.K. she might not be a great actress, but her voice and legs are terrific.
honorable mention – Rosario Dawson – she is just cool to the max: Check out Clerks 2

Needless to say there needs to be more muscle hotties in Hollywood!

It's almost impossible I agree, and, as someone who manages to see precious few films, I'm not really knowledgeable enough to compile my own list, but even I found many of their choices utterly baffling.  Can I, however, put in a good word for one of (as she is now) the slightly more mature ladies; Kate Winslet?  When I saw that scene in Titanic where DiCaprioioioio's character sketches her my jaw dropped, and I've had a soft (though sometimes quite hard *evil*) spot for her ever since).
