So I have this dream of making an fm artbook.
Do you think if a bunch of fm artists, got together we could create one, and attack comic cons with it? Or just put it online for ummm "muscle freaks" like us?
And what about spreading round at female bodybuiling contests?AND what about if we had our fm artists, but then got regular artists to contibute too? Do you think we would creep them out?
EXAMPLE:
We have 7 pages of mr matthews art work, then we have adam hughes have 1 or 2, then zebodoy have 20, then maybe 1 by art adams,—-see where I'm coming from?

What do you do with an artbook?
Also are the pics in it originals or prints or both and stuff?June 20, 2007 at 3:17 pm #54096Matthew LimParticipantJust curious. I wouldn't want in, I'm too shit for that. But..

And depending on which kind of con attendee it is, a person gets an artbook for either reference, admiring or just because they're collecting it so that they have more proof that they're so-and-so's ultimate fanboy.
Plus I deny status as a taker. Fetish books by typical standards wouldn't sell too well in cons let alone a female muscle fetish book simply because of the kinds of people that go. The typical comic book nerd population nowadays gets outweighed by:
1) anime nerds
2) young children
3) their parents
4) freebie hunterswhich cuts down the likelyhood of a good sell rate down immensely. Not to be a complete downer about it but even on paper this idea sounds like it would be a unprofitable venture.

While it's a nice idea, and may be plausible, you understand that to get Adam Hughes or Art Adams you'd need to essentially commission them to draw a piece intended for reproduction? Or purchase from them the right to use a pre-existing piece they've done already? That's going to be very expensive – if they will even do it.
But dreams are dreams, and maybe it'll happen one day. ^___^

Good luck with this.

Maybe part of the money could be donated to amaz0ns hosting 'fund' and/or site improvements. Im sure artists like DCM, Dr.Otto and others wouldnt mind joining this idea.

Might help if you could discuss the idea with FM fans who are into collectibles, like zefly. I think characters like Tetsuko have enough of a following to make the idea plausible.
