I just envy your style (in a good way). If this is your first time with color, you've demonstrated that you have pretty good instincts. It compliments your clean linework instead of overwhelming it. I also like the way you portray the girl; she's lonely and has been hurt by others (instead of a muscle dominatrix who enjoys hurting others) But she still loves herself. Perhaps she's waiting for the right guy, huh?

I agree with the comments above.  I'm looking forward to the direction you take with the story as well as the illustrations.  Thanks for posting.  Between you and the esteemed Mr. Matthews, we should be in serial bliss for some time!

    Very cool Scat.

    Thanks for sharing this.

The color really makes your linework POP effectively.

This is nice work. I particularly like the panel of her flipping her hair back; I've always been fond of that pose.

Terrific pages. Love that hair flip pose too and the angle you used.

Great piece of work. Hopefully it is just the start of a long, long series. I'm already wondering what is going to happen next. Will she see him? How will he react? Will she just assume that he's like everyone else. Really cool stuff. Like the sort of watercolor type look you've got with the coloring as well.

Actually, this story reminds me a bit of a scene in Clive  Barker's "The Great and Secret Show". Hopefully, the girl won't get dragged under the water and impregnated by a genetically engineered God though.
