December 15, 2006 at 12:53 am #25188FettParticipantWelcome Lionforce!
I feel, just incase you're unaware, that I should give you a bit of info on why SyberStyk is insulted at your mentioning of Saradas.
The reason is this – SyberStyk, like Femxman, myself and others, were members of Forum Saradas and uploaded our images for free as we do here. However, Black Modelling and whoever else is in charge of Forum Saradas decided that they wanted money to fund their own fbb video projects and what not (an extreme hypocracy since Forum Saradas required people to link to uploaded, for free, original fbb works in order to keep membership on the site, and this generally included pirate copies of fbb videos), and in order to fund this, they locked everything off except the basic discussion (so all the linked and uploaded content) and you couldn't access such material unless you paid a membership fee of 100 euros a year (or 500 euros for a lifetime – what a bargain).
So, basically, Forum Saradas got artists like us to upload our content to their forum for free, then they blocked everyone from seeing it unless they paid the money – including ourselves. And of course, none of us were told about this before hand or compensated in any way. No, instead, I, to see my *own pictures* on their site, had to pay them hundreds of euros. Not only that, but people who had uploaded video and dvd captures of their own fbb videos, they too, had their own content hidden behind this membership where no one could access it. So I, and many others, just disabled or removed the content, and told Saradas to go to hell. We were, of course, banned.
Now, Lionforce, I don't know you at all, and I'm guessing you didn't know about the history some of us here have with Saradas and why some of us would get insulted and annoyed by people calling it 'awesome'.
Nevertheless, it's good to have a new member here. 🙂

I tried to enter a Sarada's spin-off once, but they wouldn't let me in, don't know why. They demanded people to be active, but didn't let you post anywhere while you was a newbie (posts <5), and deleted my account 3 or 4 times, so I gave up. I checked and saw it's not the same forum, but seems like they both act kinda the same.January 3, 2007 at 7:14 pm #25190baditude41ParticipantI never heard of that happening before at a forum/site. That's some serious stuff! Basically, I'm only semi-good at writing (and Lingster, I'll send you a copy of my work in progress…to show I'm not a "Lurker"), but I've only heard of something like that happening writing wise. Never in artwork. How awful!
September 26, 2007 at 7:58 am #25191LParticipantyes Lucy Fett is right I did not know the history of the site in regards to art work so I apologize to any artists that I might have offended and insulted :-
July 7, 2008 at 10:25 am #25192mr_mjb1960ParticipantI too got banned from Saradas and joined here as a result.they didn't treat me good at all..I got thrown off and had my Karma removed ..or what reason I don't know still! I'd recently got this message from Saradas.org.."Sorry,You are banned from this forum!" No explanaions,no NOTHING! So, I said "That's it! No more Saradas for me! I QUIT!" and came over here, where I'm wanted. I'm glad I'm here! No VIP pre-pay B.S.-that I can deal with! THANX TO EVERYONE HERE! Michael Boyce
