These days, I think meeting other people is a more important experience. Getting together for Batman is just the icing on the cake.

Hi there I saw The Dark Knight and I got goose bumps LOL no movie has ever done that to me ever. I think that Heath Ledger as the Joker was brilliant. I have never seen such a darker Joker then this nor a darker Batman to think of it

    ** SPOILER ALERT **

I would divide the movie into two:
First half (up to the Joker's capture/interrogation): VERY GOOD. Bank Heist was good. Joker's introduction (pencil trick) OUTSTANDING. Joker breaking into the party was great. And the inital capture of the Joker was great and had everyone fooled.
Second Half: BAD. Ferry scene was just silly, felt tacked on, and totally slammed the brakes on the pacing of this movie. Final battle scene between Bats and the Joker was a mess, totally confusing. Harvey Dent's death scene was pretty much the nail in the coffin — I was just itching to get out of the theatre at that point.

I watched it on IMAX last night, so I got the 'full effect'. As an action suspense film it's very good, but the superhero drama I thought it was drivel. I stayed away from the spoilers but even so, I wasn't completely enthused by all the later developments.

The Joker and Harvey were great. Once again the villains steal the show, which is a problem for many Batman films. I'm letting this one pass because poor Heath Ledger is gone. The costume and the Batvoice still doesn't sell on camera. Trust me, when you see it on IMAX you have to wonder what's so cool about such an ugly suit. Maggie played a better Rachel but I kind of figured out earlier what was coming.

    I give it a 7/10.

Anybody realize Two-Face dies pretty much the same way in Schumacher's Batman Forever?
