To be honest, I prefer my muscle girls to be nice and perhaps even sweet and innocent, as well (Hence the reason my fave of Kulli's creations is innocent li'l Freak).  But still, those tips I gave on drawing villains/antiheroes/anyone who's not a goody-two-shoes could always come in handy, so feel free to take a look-see.

Don't forget, though, DCM, you've still got one bullying amazon; the somewhat butch and just plain mean Holly from Satin Steele: Contest Jitters!  I think you did a good job of making her a villaness, with her less-feminine facial features, and more noticeably, her hair and eyebrows.  She makes a great contrast to Satin, as well as to the other heroines you've drawn.

Well, I like the art, even if it isn't mean enough.

As for why I don't prefer "mean" in art or why I don't make "mean" renders is pretty simple; I don't find it attractive personally or aestheticly in any manner.  I've seen enough "mean" people in my line of work that I lack respect for a person that lives their life without concern for others.  If I don't have any respect for it, I ignore it (sort of like my view on politicians).  :-

And ironic, apparently most people think my girls are sinister (which.. is actually only true for one, so I'm not sure where they get the idea all of them are..) when I try to make most of them cute!

About that…I think some of them read your bios and thought Beast/Deathbringer sounded sinister to them.

Thanks…I think I generally prefer to draw characters that are more responsible about their abilities, and just because someone's capable of breaking your arm, I'd like to think that they wouldn't because that's not the kind of people they are. 😀

They can't help being what they are. Just because you are born being something that usually has a stigma on it, doesn't mean you can't be an exception.

I like to think of the hypermuscular women as representatives of the pleasant and beneficial things in the world, so i agree with Otto and DCM.  In fact, I think some of my creations verge on sickly sweet.

    I like your picture./

I like it. The whole evil thing is so cliche. I think the real reason i dislike evil amazons is becuse thats what people automaticly assume that I am because im muscular. The big bad bully bruisers something I'm never going to like and guys like Chris and DCM that think outside that box….. I dunno it makes me feel like someone gets it. Rant over.

Awesome one! Diversity is spicing life, so you're right trying various morphologies & personalities.  😉
And nothing is black or white in my opinion: shades of grey gives such a more interesting personality to a character…  😛

My fave amazons are those that defy the stereotypes; namely, Freak, Andrah, and Tetsuko.  Freak is innocent and gentle, despite her strength.  Andrah is caring and intelligent; hardly the brute one would expect (Well, she CAN be a bit brutish to her hubby Dr. Otto, but there's genuine love beneath that, making her a deeper character than one might expect).  And Tetsuko is cheerful, sometimes to the point of downright spunkiness.  These gentle giantesses are my FAVES of all Amazons on this forum, to tell the truth. 🙂
