Although Michael Whelan didn’t render her as buffed-looking in the cover art, she certain was superhuman in Robert A Heinlein’s “Friday”
Can’t help but wonder if RAH, who did have a thing for “strong” women, was inspired by Cory Everson as a physique source for his character.

The “Dark Sun” fantasy series, books published by TSR in the early 1990s, often had heavily muscled women featured on their covers. I think the artist in question for these was a guy called “Brom”.
