Yeah, this is an old SNES/Super Famicom title.

The intro's character design is nice even aside from the 'capable amazonian fighter' buttons it's pushing.

Thanks for the link to the video.  The lady's name is Amber or Umber depending on how you translate it.  There's some more brandish pics in these old posts:

There was a game called Brandish (????????) for the Famicom with a buff character named Amber/Umber (????).  She was appeared first in the second installment of the game and became a playable character in the third installment.  There are tons of great shots of her on this page.
