This woman has caught my eye big time. She competed in the Emerald Cup in both figure AND bodybuilding and placed in the top three in both divisions!  😼

To be exact, she was 3rd in Class A Figure Class and 2nd in the Masters Bodybuilding Over 35 division. More about her here.

She's planning on making her National debut this November, if I'm not mistaken.

With her recent success in a short amount of time, I'd keep an eye on this future star.  😉

My God, she looks amazing. It's hard to believe she's over 35!

I also think it's damn cool that she competed and did well in both the figure and bodybuilding divisions. However, if she wanted to make it in the pros, she would have to choose one or the other and lose muscle to compete in figure or gain muscle to compete in bodybuilding. This is kind of sad, as she looks pretty damn perfect as she is. It makes me wish there was a third pro division like "muscular figure" where women could do a flexing routine, were judged more on tone, shape, and symmetry more than pure size, but at the same time were not penalized for size either.

I 100% agree with you on that. I'll send you a PM on that particular subject.

BTW, for some reason, the link didn't come out right. Here's the correct link:

I think that 40 is the new 25.  So many 35-45 year-old bodybuilders, both male and female, look very impressive.  It's one thing I think that should be publicized more in order to attract more new talent.  Compare a typical 40-year-old to some of the 40+ bodybuilders out there (Lenda Murray (47!!!), Ronnie Coleman (45), etc) and ask a person in his late teens to early 20s which one s/he would prefer to look like when they are older.

Very impressive indeed – and a great example of how a female BBer should look, IMO.  I would argue not for a third, "half-way house" category, but for the criteria outlined for that category to be applied to FBBing.  For my taste, she looks so much better on stage in the BBing shot than most Pros because she is not ultra-dry, and, being natural, she does not have the facial changes associated with GH use.
