Basically she’s a ‘brawler’ type character designed to both take and deal damage to other players when playing the game. Her description on the back of the game is:

Bryn the Boatswain

One of Captain Whitehawk’s oldest friends, Bryn is tough as nails and knows how to keep a ship afloat. When she’s not making repairs or loading the stores, she enjoys sparring with the crew… all of them… at the same time…

The Good: She’s strong enough to carry a cannon.

The Bad: She’s strong enough to carry a cannon!

If I recall correctly, she’s actually *carrying* the Cannon. Into the tavern.

(The *actual* bad is that she doesn’t have much defense against getting drunk, and is liable to lose her cash gambling.)

That’s correct I was just a bit shocked when I saw the picture of her carrying a cannon! Who the hell does that in a tavern?!

Still it’s nice to see variation in body types of the characters.
