Nobody’s asking you to apologize for anything. You raised a concern and I addressed the issue and gave possible solutions to it, plain and simple. I even have a stickied topic stating feedback and questions are welcome

    https://www.amaz0ns.com/component/kunena/Announcements–Updates/120230-site-feedback-and-questions-are-welcomed

which as far as I’m concerned is what this is. You have an issue and I am discussing it with you and seeing how we can resolve it to your satisfaction within reason. Once again it seems to me the simple solution is to start locking down the off-topic responses in other threads by both members and moderators, not a big deal at all and easily implemented. I just wanted to give people some small insight as to how things work on this forum simply because we rarely discuss it in the open, mostly because we’ve been here so long and it’s not like we have a flood of new members posting anywhere. It’s all good man.

I don’t have a specific time frame for when this all started happening, I guess after we got a new president, but this forum has been slowly sliding into an US vs. THEM mentality which is worrying.

When Ashlee posts a link to She-Ra news stating, “LOOK AT THIS SJW BULLSHIT” and everyone chimes in with their “Yeah look at their liberal, forcing gays down our throats agenda.” This is worrying.

When I talked about the She-Hulk comic being dumb and boring to read, someone felt the need to point out that it’s the liberal political agenda being, again, crammed down our throats. Marvel editors are trying to hit their gay quota, whatever.

When Alex makes a broad statement about liberals destroying language, quite honestly, after a while, all this shit gets offensive.

It’s offensive because it continues the Liberals vs. Conservative war that is continually being waged in the real world. The greatest sin of it all is that Libs and Conservatives are two wings of the same bird. I can list an equal amount of bullshit conducted by both sides. Not all of us Democrats agree with calling transgenders “they.” Or whatever silly pronoun they want to use. And not all conservatives believe in Jesus Christ.

I don’t want threads to get locked, but I also don’t want this community to turn into a political agenda playground. I don’t give a fuck if you’re a republican. And you shouldn’t give a fuck that I’m a democrat. Last time I checked, you guys posting a link to photos of a new FBB has nothing to do with your political affiliations. Stop talking about your SJW hatred on the forum and blaming the other political party for something you’re not happy with.

I get it, your pissed that media is pushing an agenda. That doesn’t mean we’re doing the same here on this forum. This is a neutral zone where both parties can leave the politics out of all FBB related discussions and TV shows.

My story “I have a Problem” got removed from DA. If I were to use the mentality forum members have been using here, I would say something along the lines of, “Those conservative, christian-based puritans removed my story which was only about a man making love to a she-hulk. I blame these stupid Republicans for making the rest of the world squemish to the idea of licking a green hairy pussy.”

Does this sound like a logical argument to you? No.

Leave the political bullshit for the election polls. On this forum, if you have news on female muscle, artwork, stories, whatever. Then just leave it on-topic with female muscle. Don’t proselytize your political affiliations because no one gives a shit. If our community can’t grow the fuck up and be the only place on the Internet where I don’t have to hear someone lamenting about politics, I will start reporting threads. (This includes you Ashlee. Your She-Ra thread is the most prominent, inflammatory one that comes to mind.)

Stop fanning the flames to a pointless ideological war. At the end of the day, we’re all here to exchange news about female muscle. This is supposed to be a peaceful forum where it doesn’t matter what side of the fence you sit on. That’s all I want from this community. Nothing more, nothing less. Continuing these political diatribes will turn Amaz0ns into an unwelcoming, unfriendly place to visit.

My greatest fear is that this community and all of its members have become too old. Some of us started visiting this forum when we were teenagers. Before the politics, before jobs, before we could even vote. As this community gets older, I feel it’s going to inevitably drift into a political warzone. I really hope that as a rule, we can leave the politics out of it. But if not, then I guess it will be time for some of us to leave the community behind.

I pretty much agree with everything you just said. I haven’t liked the slow descent into political commentary being thrown into everything around here. I stopped reading certain threads long ago for that reason and I’m down to basically logging in to check for messages or reported posts make a brief check for spam and I’m out. The people I talked to are mostly long gone and the only reason I’m still around is that several years ago Lingster asked me to effectively take over operations here because he no longer had the time to handle it himself so I’ve done my best to try and keep it going smoothly. I have three other forums I belong to these days and those are for game support because I’ve had my fill of internet drama for one lifetime, it’s something I just don’t need.

I haven’t wanted to push back on the political statements and posts that seem to be made for no other reason then someone has to link everything to one group or another now because I know what happens on internet forums once it starts and there’s no clean way to deal with it without being attacked from all sides for whatever you do.

If anyone else wants to comment for a while please do so but sometime in the future as it stands we’re going to implement serious moderation on the political views being shoved into threads and thread topics. There are plenty of places to go to discuss politics, and a forum that is supposed to be about female muscle, athletes art and stories is going to be put back on it’s course. This will apply to threads outside the Free for All area.

Henceforth I will be very conservative about stating my liberal views and liberally salt my conservatism with socialist anecdotes about Groucho Marxism using manifestos that are communistically classified as pure capitalistic conundrums of tyrannical monarchies.

I hope that clears everything up and I promise to lower taxes right after I raise them using the yoyoism theory of economic stability.

And hey – look at that girl’s guns – whatever her political correctness is, I’m with her!

Well, clearly we have reached the unnecessary mocking reply phase and since the original poster has stated he’s dropping the issue I’m going to shut this topic down. Here’s the deal. Any topic with heavy political themes will be moved to the Free for All area, anyone who intentionally trolls another member with political themed replies or whatever will be disciplined. That’s it. You don’t like someone’s thread? Don’t read it, don’t reply to it. Or reply to it, debate it, it’s up to you. Keep the politics in the appropriate threads and out the topics where it doesn’t belong. I stopped reading anything ashlee posted a long time ago, with one exception for her little rant about the Faith comic just to see how triggered she was over the fact there was a superheroine who wasn’t drawn like an ultrabuxom sex goddess and sure enough best laugh I’ve had in a while. If you can’t deal with someone who has a different opinion then yours, that’s your problem not a forum moderation problem. As long as it doesn’t get out of hand and turn personal it’s not a staff issue. I don’t like the attacks on liberalism and broad comments made about it by members just like I don’t like the attacks on conservatives I see elsewhere. Y’all can discuss whatever you want as long as it’s in the proper forum section and as I stated it doesn’t turn into a personal flame war. It’s really sad this is where this forum has gotten but there is no way to address this without honking someone off.
