Seems like another case of Denise Rutkowski, revisited. :-
Oh, well – I wish her well and thanks for the femuscular vision of heaven. ;D 8)

I really do wish that I could have something in my life as certain, comforting and grounding as Pastor Candy has with her religion. I'm astonished at how she can be so sanguine about ending a career that was just taking-off because of a direction from above. I of course also wish her well. 😉
October 7, 2007 at 1:00 am #28373LingsterKeymasterSorry for a second post so quickly, but I've just been on her blog, and the shock news is that:
Candy Canary is retiring from BBing forthwith!
Apparently, God told her that her service in that way was over – she is concentrating on her ministry, her missionary work and sees no need for BBing anymore. The one bit of good news for us is that she will stay buff and maintain her site, but to retire just as you're getting to be THAT good? Well, let me say that I totally respect her religious beliefs and reasons for giving-up, but I think it's a huge loss to FBB fans – a beautiful woman with that astonishing physique – she'll be missed, I'm sure. :'(
What is your source on this?

Try reading my post, Lingster – I said it's on her blog. ;D 😉

You did notice that the post is dated August 14th?
October 7, 2007 at 9:21 am #28376fbbfanParticipantIt is a shame she is retiring, but am glad she is focusing her passion on something that will serve her, her community, and her parish.
Glad to have seen such muscularity, it was mind-blowing plus I loved that lovely smile of hers, and her beautiful personality when it came to showing us her muscle.

So? I don't care if it was dated next Wednesday – I take her word for it. I can't see that she'd state that for the sake of it.
October 7, 2007 at 8:50 pm #28378LingsterKeymasterWell, you reported it as if it was fresh news. I remember reading about it during the summer and was surprised to see it again – I thought you meant there was new info.

Ah, I see, I felt that, if I didn't know it, then it probably sugested that others may not either, and that the thread dedicated to the lady herself was a good place to post the info. Also, you read the post when she first made it, but you didn't mention it – so what's wrong with me reporting it given that you didn't? If you'd prefer members other than you and (presumably) AlexG not to post updates on athletes, then I'm fine with that – I'll just comment on them. 🙂
October 8, 2007 at 3:42 am #28380fbbfanParticipantI for one just found out a day ago…
So I am thankful for the heads up in any event.
Thank you all.
